Forms 4 Sharing Assembly
These past few weeks Form 4 students have been on a great exploration by way of the transdisciplinary theme Where We Are in Place and Time. Our students took a great journey into the past through our incredible unit of Inquiry, Pre-Columbian Civilizations. Their focus was to observe how evidence from the past can be used to make connections to present day societies.
This unit of inquiry also allowed the children to display not just acting skills but a variety of projects in both maths and art to reproduce an important ceremonial artifact from the civilizations they studied. The tunic project was inspired by Aztec & Mayan language and artistic patterns that we can still see today.
PYP encourages the exploration of history and the world around us through many different lenses, enriching the learning experience of everyone.
Students sure had fun in this sharing assembly!
